Thank you all for your support!
Thank you for stopping by and checking out our little farm. We are located in Clearwater County, Idaho on 20 acres. In the summer of 2016 we left the craziness of city life in Seattle and headed East.
Our mini farm started with a handful of chickens which grew to over 40 now. Goats were something we always wanted to try and raise. We started with 3 nigerian dwarf doelings and have grown our herd since with several more does and bucks. Then one day, the hubby came home with an Alpaca in the back of the car. We now have two and look forward to babies down the road. Along with several barn cats, that keep little critters under control, we have a little dog that enjoys herding the chickens and goats around.
We enjoy making our goat milk soap and sharing other products we currently offer.
Thank you!
Robert & Sharlene
When it came time to introduce goats to our mini farm, our research began on finding the right breed for us. We knew we wanted dairy goats and had always been partial to the smaller breeds. So the more we read about Nigerian Dwarfs we knew they were the perfect fit.
They are the sweetest and lovable animals. I always tell people it's like having puppy dogs following you around as they love attention.
Also, they're great milk producers, producing on average a quart a day. And, their milk is so good!! It's creamy, sweet, and has higher levels of butterfat (6%-10%), which is why making yogurt and cheese is a must. Yummm! No goaty taste at all.
Nigerian's can be bred any season, where most other breeds can be bred during the Fall. We love when it's kidding season, nigerian babies are soooo cute!
We love our customers, so feel free to contact us during normal business hours.
